Discover more about medieval life during this Half Term
From Saturday 14th until Sunday 22nd February visitors will have the chance to meet Mistress Fuller or Brother Matthew and find out what life was like in medieval England.
Mistress Fuller is a wise woman who can cure all ills with her knowledge of herbs and remedies. Brother Matthew is a young friar who should be spending his time practicing calligraphy but he prefers to spend time talking to anyone who passes him by.
In addition to meeting a medieval character, visitors will be able to discover the fascinating story of King Richard III and the discovery of his remains – one of the greatest archaeological mysteries ever solved.
From Monday 16th to Friday 20th February the Visitor Centre will be open for extended hours, opening from 10am until 5pm.
