Science Club

NEW FOR 2019 is our summer science club!

Over six weeks, we will be carrying out experiments, analysing results and drawing conclusions from a range of subjects including DNA and the science of slime.

Science Club will take place on Tuesdays throughout the summer holiday. Suitable for 7 – 11 year olds, each session will start at 10am and finish at 12:30pm each day and parents/guardians can drop their budding scientists off at the Visitor Centre and return to collect them later. Our session leader is a fully DBS checked scientist.

The sessions cost £10 per child and must be booked and paid for in advance. A lab coat, mid-morning snack and drink will be provided.

Our Science Club will cover the following subjects:

Have a go at excavating buried “treasure” and recording your finds.

30th July – ‘The Science of Energy’

6th August – ‘The Science of Slime’

13th August – ‘The Science of Forensics’

20th August – ‘The Science of DNA’
