June 5th 1483 - Richard issues orders for Edward V’s Coronation to be arranged for the 22nd of June and sends out letters summoning 40 squires whom are to be made ‘Knights of the Bath’ at the coronation.

May 31st 1443 - birth of Lady Margaret Beaufort, she carried the train for Queen Anne at her Coronation with Richard III but just a couple of years later her only son, Henry Tudor became Henry VII at the Battle of Bosworth, she also lived to see her grandson crowned Henry VIII.

May 31st 1495 - Cecily Neville dies aged 80 at Ber

May 31st 1495 - Cecily Neville dies aged 80 at Berkhamsted Castle in Hertfordshire. She was the mother of two Kings of England, Edward IV and Richard III, and every monarch since, apart from Henry VII, is a descendant of hers.
