Update from the Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre inadvertently opened the debate this week on whether to extend an invitation to President-Elect Donald Trump, to visit the city centre attraction.

What started out as an opportunity for a foreign head of state to find out more about their own link to the English monarchy that dates back over 700 years, has grown into a hot topic across the region and has generated a lot of interest.

The King Richard III Visitor Centre can confirm that it has not sent an invitation to Mr Trump and will be leaving any future invitations to be made by Her Majesty’s Government.

He is now the President of a country that is now our greatest ally and companion in this world of uncertainty and terror. He may not be perfect in some peoples eyes but he is a business man who is now the strongest man in the free world. He is not a politician who promises and then does not perform, he means and does what he says and we are all safer for that.
Grant him the honour and respect he deserves and open the doors of your great and beautiful City to him.
    He would be forever grateful.

As a follow on from my earlier comment!
I shall be visiting the City myself for a Royal Naval Submariners Re-Union in March from the 22nd to the 24th and will certainly visit the exhibition!
