Thomas Cook’s Leicester: Guided Walk
Saturday 25th March, 11am
To celebrate English Tourism Week here in Leicester, the place where tourism began, join our one-hour walking tour about Thomas Cook, one of the founders of the package holiday.
Starting at the Thomas Cook statue outside Leicester Railway Station, many familiar city centre buildings help to tell the tale of Cook’s business as it flourished and developed into a world wide enterprise. The tour finishes at the King Richard III Visitor Centre, where refreshments and entrance to the exhibition are included in your ticket.
Tickets £9, available in person from Visit Leicester, call 0116 299 4444
