Children aged 4 and under and official carers are admitted free of charge. Tickets can only be obtained for them on arrival at the Visitor Centre.
Please note that unless otherwise stated, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and up to four under 16’s can be accompanied by one adult.

You can take as long as you like to explore the King Richard III Visitor Centre but on average visitors spend about an hour and a half looking at the exhibitions and about half an hour enjoying the hospitality of our award-winning White Boar Café.
Last admission is 60 minutes before the King Richard III Visitor Centre closes and the White Boar Café closes approximately an hour before we close.
KRIII’s White Boar Café is open every day from 10am, with outside seating in our lovely courtyard (open all year, weather dependent).
The King Richard III Visitor Centre and Visit Leicester Tourist Information Centre gift shop stock a range of King Richard III and Leicester related books, gifts and souvenirs to suit all budgets. It is possible to visit the shop and the tourist information centre without paying for admission to the King Richard III Visitor Centre.
Full priced tickets are valid as an Annual Pass for a year from purchase and can be used to make return visits on any day the Centre is open, up to a year after the date of purchase.
Complimentary, discounted, group and school visit tickets are only valid on the day of first use and cannot be re-used but it is possible to upgrade your ticket on the day of your visit to an Annual Pass.
As one of the conditions of the annual ticket, you will be asked to sign your ticket on the day of purchase and may be asked to show proof of signature on subsequent visits.
