A day for home educating families to find out about King Richard III, who he was and how archaeologists found and identified his remains.
We offer a programme of activities suitable for children aged 6 to 12. Younger children will need support with some activities, and children of all ages are welcome. Activities link to the KS2 curriculum for Science and History. Facilitated sessions take place at fixed times, for the rest of your day you are free to explore the exhibition and the self-led activities, and take breaks whenever you need to.
We invite children with SEND needs to see the relaxed programme itinerary below, which has self led activities in the morning and facilitated sessions in the afternoon.
